Vileda Sprint 15 Ultimate – Manufacturer’s Guarantee (Terms & Conditions)
1. Guarantee Period
Vileda guarantees the Vileda Sprint 15 Ultimate against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase.
For products purchased online, the guarantee period commences from the date the goods are received by the consumer.
2. Making a Guarantee Claim
If a defect covered by this guarantee arises during the guarantee period, the consumer must make a claim as soon as reasonably practicable within that period.
To make a claim, the consumer must present the defective Vileda Sprint 15 Ultimate together with valid proof of purchase to the retailer from whom the product was purchased.
3. Remedies Under This Guarantee
At Vileda’s discretion, a valid guarantee claim will be resolved by either:
- repair of the defective product or part; or
- replacement of the product.
If repair is not possible and an identical replacement product is no longer available, a replacement product of comparable value will be provided where reasonably possible.
This guarantee applies worldwide.
4. Exclusions
- This guarantee does not apply to defects or damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear or damage arising from ordinary use;
- Misuse, improper handling, impact, dropping, or incorrect storage;
- Failure to follow installation, care, or operating instructions;
- Consumable components that are expected to require periodic replacement during the life of the product.
5. Limitations
This guarantee does not cover refunds of the purchase price and does not provide compensation for indirect or consequential loss, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. Australian Consumer Law
This guarantee is provided in addition to the rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Consumers are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
