Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. By entering into this competition all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the following rules.

  2. The prize promotion is open to AUS residents only.

  3. All employees of Vileda AUS and anyone involved in the promotion of the competition are excluded from entry.

  4. The prize shall be awarded at Vileda AUS’s discretion and if it considers any entrant has acted inappropriately or dishonestly in entering into the competition it reserves the right to refuse to award any prize.

  5. Automatic entry into the draw to win Cleaning Kit valued at $100 RRP, when purchasing Vileda and/or Ansell products over AUD$50.00

  6. Vileda "Clean up with Vileda this Cup Day“ is an online competition run on Facebook and through Vileda online webshop.

  7. Neither the Promoter nor its agencies will be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies.

  8. Proof of online purchase is proof of entry.

  9. The prize will be revealed on 15th November 2017, The winner will be contacted by an email or Facebook private message. To claim the prize winners will be asked to send a private message back to Vileda and share their address. If the prize is not claimed within 7 days it will not be offered to another competitor.

  10. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available. In the event of the prize being unavailable for any reason outside Vileda AUS’s control, Vileda AUS reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal monetary value.

  1. Unless otherwise agreed, prizes will be sent to the winner’s Australian residential address, as specified on their entry form within 28 days of notification to the winner.
  2. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and entrants completely release Facebook from any and all liability in connection with this promotion.
  3. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter (including but not limited to by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering with or manipulation of the entry process or conduct of the promotion, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures) the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to terminate, modify, cancel or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, as appropriate.
  4. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter their details and enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  5. If an entry is deemed by the Promoter not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entry will be discarded and the entrant will not receive a communication in this regard.  No correspondence will be entered into. All entries become the property of the Promoter. In the event of a prize not being accepted or claimed, the judges will select an alternate winner with the entry judged to be the next best entry to receive that prize.
  6. As a condition of entry, each entrant consents to the Promoter using their name and entry in promotional material in any medium throughout the world without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
  7. Each entrant consents to the Promoter (and each of its assignees and licensees) doing or omitting to do anything which may infringe any and all moral rights of the entrant including to edit, alter and reproduce the entry, and that such consents have been obtained to the full extent permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
  8. Once the prize has left the Promoter’s/supplier’s premises, the Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with the promotion will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, loss or damage to that prize. Prizes will be posted out as soon as possible from the date of announcement, however we cannot take responsibility for any delays in post over the Christmas period.
  9. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute the prize for a prize of equal or higher value and/or specifications, as determined by the Promoter.  
  10. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or correspondence that is late, lost, altered, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, corrupted, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (including but not limited to entrant error or omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption or communications failure); or (e) any tax liability incurred by an entrant.
  11. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
