The right product for the right task
The high demands on hygiene within healthcare means that the cleaning frequency should be high and the cleaning material should be changed between every room in order to prevent migration of dirt and bacteria. The high cleaning frequency and changing between rooms mean that the mops and cloths do not have to absorb the same amount of loose particles as found in areas such as schools or entrance halls.
A good example is Duo-Finnmop; a mop with two functions. The mop contains enough active fibre yarn to pick up the dirt and at the same time the micro fibres to clean deep down.
Our mop ranges differ in base materials to give advantages in terms of efficiency (2 actions in 1), ergonomics (light weight) and economy (more mops can be washed in the same washing cycle).

Colour coding
Most of the recommended products are colour coded but as the mops in the Swep range are changed between rooms colour coding is not critical.
Washable at 95°
All the products that we recommend for use within the healthcare environment can be washed at 95° or autoclaved. Not all surfaces and areas within healthcare require washability at 95°, but in order to reduce complexity we have decided to only recommend products that can be washed at this temperature. |

Long lasting products
From an economical point of view the recommended products are especially suited to laundering facilities, the Swep Finnmop has been externally proven to last 1000 washing cycles and give optimised cost in use.

Laboratories
For laboratories, infection wards and other areas that need to be disinfected, we recommend QuickStar Micro.
Tests have shown that after 100 washes at 95° the cloth works as well as when new.
